lyrics
He checked the forecast last night, lying in bed, her trying to make him stay.
It said in their part of town, no shadow of doubt, that it wouldn't rain today.
She says they'll always be friends, but he knows that they won't; either lovers or lovers who failed.
Everything comes to end, he knows that too well, learned it the hard way, but she's trying to help him change.
But a month of rain fell in one day, and it washed all our plans away.
He sometimes gets in a mood, trying to shake three decades of January blues. She was an angel those days, kissing his head like it's a cut or graze.
Time can put salt in a wound, but the kettle will boil again and again for you.
Then she says "I'll just get some air", walks to the park, and quietly waited there like she's waiting for him to care.
